Adam Driver, 40, and his wife Joanne Tucker are celebrating the arrival of their new baby girl, as reported by Page Six. The actor shared this joyous news during a dress rehearsal for Saturday Night Live, a show he hosted for the fourth time this past weekend.

During the practice opening monologue, Adam humorously mentioned, “Last year, I asked for a baby girl, and I got it, which is exhausting. So this year, I wish for Ambien!”

This announcement follows Page Six’s earlier report in February when Adam and Joanne were first revealed to be expecting. Back then, they were spotted handling groceries at their New York apartment, with Joanne displaying a visible baby bump. The couple, known for their privacy, was also seen shopping for baby products during the outing.

The exact date of the baby’s arrival remains unknown, consistent with the couple’s preference for keeping their family matters private. Their first child, a son, was born in 2018, and the news became public after Joanne’s sister shared pregnancy photos from a joint baby shower, labeling her sibling as a “new mom.”

Adam and Joanne tied the knot in 2013 after meeting at the Juilliard School in the 2000s, opting for a private wedding ceremony. In a past KACZ radio interview, the Girls star acknowledged how his wife helps him “remain a normal person amidst all [the] Hollywood craziness.”

Beyond his family life, Adam continues to focus on his successful acting career, garnering recognition with nominations for two Academy Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards. His diverse roles in House of Gucci as Maurizio Gucci, the Star Wars sequel trilogy as Kylo Ren, and HBO’s Girls as Adam Sackler highlight his impressive contributions to television and film.
