“Alizeh Agnihotri Shares Salman Khan’s Reaction to Her Acting Ambition”

Alizeh Agnihotri, the niece of Bollywood icon Salman Khan, is all set for her Bollywood debut in the film “Farrey.” She recently opened up about her uncle’s reaction when she decided to pursue acting as her profession. Alizeh revealed that although Salman had encouraged her to explore acting for some time, she chose to take the leap only when she was sure about her decision.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Alizeh explained, “When he used to tell me, ‘I feel you are going to act,’ I used to be like, ‘No, I don’t know.’ I was very shy and hesitant to claim I was an actor until I was confident in my abilities. After years of training, I finally called him and said I was considering acting professionally. His reaction was laughter. He told me, ‘When I suggested it to you professionally, you said no.’ He took it in a light-hearted way and his laughter made it less serious for me. I am very grateful for his support.”
Alizeh also shared what she admires most about her uncle Salman’s remarkable career. She said, “He has a youthful spirit and incredible energy. Even today, he approaches every film with excitement and passion. It’s truly admirable that after a long and successful career, he wakes up with the same enthusiasm every day. I look up to that.”
Coming from a film-oriented family, Alizeh acknowledges the pressure and expectations that come with it. She expressed, “I do feel the pressure, and it’s only natural. It’s a stressful situation, and you have to be cautious about what you say. Despite the stress, I’m also very happy about it.”
