Sunil Grover Expresses Desire to Collaborate with Aamir Khan Again, Praises Shah Rukh Khan’s Humility

Sunil Grover, known for his versatility in TV, OTT, and Bollywood, recently expressed his interest in working with Aamir Khan again, following their collaboration in the 2008 hit Ghajini. Grover, who has shared the screen with top Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and more, revealed his aspiration for a larger role in Khan’s upcoming projects.

In a conversation with Indian Express, Grover emphasized his admiration for Aamir Khan’s craft and expressed eagerness to collaborate on a substantial project, stating, “I worked first with him in Ghajini, but I want to do a bigger role with him. Unke saath bada mazaa aayega kaam karne mein I will thoroughly enjoy working with him, he does some amazing work.”

Reflecting on his experience working with Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan, Grover lauded the superstar’s humility and inclusive demeanor. He recounted, “I just wanted to work with Shah Rukh Khan, so when I was offered this role I just said yes. The way he is, does various things, and gives importance to everybody and everything is amazing. He has been very kind, he makes you feel very special.”

Grover’s sentiments extended to his family, as his younger brother Anil Grover also had the opportunity to work alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Dunki, where he portrayed a significant character named Balli, a close friend of SRK’s character Hardy.

In terms of Grover’s recent projects, he had a successful 2023 with a prominent role in Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster Jawan. Prior to that, in 2022, he garnered praise for his performance in the critically acclaimed film Goodbye, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna.

Currently, Grover is gearing up for the highly anticipated second season of his Zee5 web series, Sunflower. The series, which also features Adah Sharma, Ranvir Shorey, and other talented actors, is set to premiere on Zee5 on March 1, 2024.
