Zac Efron, the cool actor known for Disney fame and a variety of roles, is getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! The ceremony is on December 11 at 11:30 am PT at 6426 Hollywood Boulevard, celebrating his big impact on movies.

Efron has been impressing us for almost 20 years with his talent. Now, he’s joining the Hollywood Walk of Fame, home to 2,700 stars honoring entertainment legends.

The ceremony will be full of stars, with speakers like his former co-stars Jeremy Allen White and Miles Teller, plus his Iron Claw director, Sean Durkin. They’re recognizing Efron’s influence on the industry and how he became a leading man after starting as a Disney star.

Ana Martinez, the Hollywood Walk of Fame producer, is thrilled to honor Efron. She praised his journey from Disney to tackling different roles, calling him a “popular and gifted actor.”

Efron’s career took off in the 2000s with TV shows like ER and Firefly. But, he really hit it big as Troy Bolton in High School Musical. From there, he rocked major films like Hairspray, 17 Again, and Bad Neighbours.

His latest gig is the A24 biopic Iron Claw, where he plays wrestler Kevin Von Erich. The movie dives into the Von Erich family’s story, a wrestling dynasty with lots of personal drama. Efron, known for his physicality, opened up about the challenges of becoming the famous wrestler in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
